  • Read, comprehend, and interpret engineering drawings, schematics (electrical and hydraulic), wiring diagrams, and component maintenance manuals (CMM).
  • Evaluate component performance and reliability using precision measuring instruments and test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and pressure gages.
  • Support the selection and qualification of components for repair capabilities, ensuring suitability for aerospace applications.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Operations to ensure repair processes meet return-to-service criteria and quality standards.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, including evaluation findings, failure analysis results, and repair documentation.
  • Generate and review engineering documentation such as specifications, work instructions, and test procedures for use by MRO personnel.
  • Adhere to all company policies and government regulations including FAA and ITAR requirements.
  • Show commitment to continuous improvement in engineering processes and technical expertise.
  • Qualifications

    Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace, MRO, manufacturing, or a highly regulated industry (defense, medical devices, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuit analysis, and component-level functionality.
  • Experience with electrical/electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, ICs, relays, connectors, and power distribution devices.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
