About the Role:

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. This on-site position is critical in providing support to the sales team for the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing administrative functions, responding to customer requests, and ensuring timely follow-up on all inquiries. This role requires a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively—even when relaying difficult information. This position offers a blend of customer interaction, administrative support, and cross-departmental collaboration in a fast-paced aerospace MRO environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Intersky in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and provide follow-up in a timely manner.
  • Provide information to customers regarding company capabilities and services.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, including relaying difficult information when necessary with professionalism and tact.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions for future reference and follow-up.
  • Work with the sales team to ensure quality customer processes and adapt accordingly to changing needs.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed in relation to customer service activities.
  • Perform administrative requests including setting up new customer accounts.
  • Prepare and send out quote approvals to customers.
  • Gather additional customer information as needed to support sales and operations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other office software to track customer interactions and maintain organized records.
  • Perform basic math calculations for quotes, orders, and customer account management.
  • Assist with documentation and data entry to support the sales team's administrative needs.
  • Qualifications

    Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two to four years of customer service-related work experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic math skills for quotes, orders, and account management.
  • Ability to remain professional and positive when handling difficult customer conversations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Preferred:

  • Experience in the aerospace industry or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with FAA-regulated environments or MRO operations.
  • Experience with CRM systems or customer database software.
  • Previous experience supporting a sales team.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Business, Communications, or a related field.
